How much writing about writing can one person do? A lot, apparently. I am fascinated by writing, particularly the creative processes that people follow and how they refine and modify these to suit the project. On my bookshelf are many books on writing. Apparently, other writers are fascinated with all things to do with writing processes, skills, ideas and reflection on what makes writing so great.
I feel lucky that I have this passion, and that it feeds me to the extent it does. And that I have a job that allows me to engage in as much of it as I can reasonably fit into the waking hours of my day.
My latest favourite book on writing:
Maass, D 2012, Writing 21st century fiction: high-impact techniques for exceptional storytelling, Writer’s Digest Books, Cincinnati, Ohio.
